My RL Steam!
Sep. 3rd, 2008 04:20 pmAfter some chatter about this with Miss [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com], it has occurred to me that I work at a Steampunk University. That would be Michigan State University. Consider:
We've got the steam tunnels, in fact we are steam powered!
The campus dates back to 1855, and we still have many of our original Victorian era buildings, such as Linton Hall and Eustace-Cole Hall and Morrill Hall.
We have a legendary steam tunnel 'incident'.
We have the ghost of Mary Mayo hauting her namesake building, Mayo Hall.
I have a daydream of someone, someday, building a Michigan State University sim in SL. Complete with the tunnels, and the ghost. :)
